Lucija Marin: Collected Memories

 Lucija Marin: Collected Memories

Created over 18 years, every invoice being a 'trace of the artist's life and decisions, a materialized memory"  From the Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb

Roman Rus: Used Up

Roman Rus: "Used Up"  A broom is not merely an everyday object, but an extension of the person who uses it. It bears the traces of wear, a record of its use. The series is a visual study of wear. (From the artist statement at the exhibition 'Temporary Address" at Galarija Jakopič in Ljubljana)

Hana Luka Midžić: A Bit Morbid, eh?

Hana Luka Midžić:  "A Bit Morbid, Eh?"

The artwork consists of three plastic bags, anthropomorphic in shape, each filled with a heap of scraps, fragments of plaster casts, worn-out clothes, etc, dealing with human materialism. (From the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb)

ROOM: By Bruna Žeželi

"Room"  Bruna Žeželi: The series of photos captures the artist's everyday life, with each image reflecting a different emotional state. Each image reveals the raw emotions of passing days and invites the viewer into her intimate world. Created through the act of making one photograph each day, the project is a story of self-discovery and growth that allows us to accept who we truly are.  (From the artist statement at the exhibition 'Temporary Address" at Galarija Jakopič in Ljubljana)

Marina Chisty: Fragments of Now

 Marina Chisty

"I think of these cubes as moments I try to hold onto. Each one traces of movment, pressure, and change. The structure gives a sense of order, but the pigment refuses to stay still, spreading and breaking in its own way. For me this reflects everyday life: balancing structure and uncertainty at the same time" (from her Instagram)

"Fragments of Now" All artworks created using pigment powder, acrylic, and charcoal.

Ruth Asawa: Undulating Wire Sculpture: Structural Form from Drawings

Ruth Asawa:  "My Curiosity was aroused by the idea of giving structural form to the images in my drawings. These forms come from observing plants, the spiral of a snail, seeing light through insect wings, watching spiders repair their webs in the early morning, and seeing the sun through the droplets of water suspended from the tips of pine needles while watering my garden."
