8th Grade Identity Project

How do artists represent identity through the use of metaphorical symbolism?
Students in 8th grade visual arts created symbols representing individual identity, then combined them together to create a group identity.  The idea behind the project is that each student is unique, but he or she also contributes to the identity of the school as a whole.
